Accommodation and Included Meals Information:

Room Rates: Single Room Rate $160 per night and Double Room Rate: $150 per night

Commuters: A one-time $15 fee is charged with registration to assist with check-in.

Included Meals: The Full Registration package includes four breakfasts Tues-Friday, three lunches Tues-Thursday, three dinners Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and all refreshment breaks. 

STC attendees staying on-campus will be accommodated in one of our 10 residential colleges.

Each pair of colleges features Residence Halls, Apartments, Dining Halls, and Classroom spaces, ensuring a central conference area regardless of assignment.

All adult conference attendees are housed in on-campus apartments, offering single and double rooms with shared common spaces (living and dining room, kitchen, and bathroom). All beds are twin-sized.

Linen service is included.

Family accommodations may be available.

Off-Campus Housing

UCSC charges a $15 fee for all attendees not staying on campus in order to assist with check-in.

If you are unable to stay on-campus during the conference, here are a few hotels we recommend. No conference rate discounts are available:

  • The tourist nature of our city also means there are many affordable options on airbnb

Please note that travel time is approximate, as traffic in Santa Cruz during the summer is unpredictable. Please allow extra time to compensate for congestion. We are not providing shuttle service to and from campus from off-campus hotels. You are responsible for purchasing your own parking permit, conference rate discounts are available. Permits are purchased in person at the UCSC Parking and Transportation Services office.
